You must be over 18 to enter and hold a formal qualification in the visual arts from a UK-based place of higher or further education (undergraduate or postgraduate level). You must have completed your course between 1 April 2016 and the closing date for 2021 submissions (20 September 2021).

If you are unsure whether your programme of study is eligible, please get in touch.

You are still eligible if you fulfil all other entry criteria and can make arrangements for your work to be exhibited in London if selected.

Eligible artists can submit up to two works.

Yes, please upload an image of your work. Images should be high resolution jpegs (300 dpi recommended) and no more than 1MB in size.

Images of two-dimensional work should exclude the frame.

For film/video/performance works please include a link to view or download your entry, rather than an image.

For three-dimensional work please either take an image against a plain background or provide a short video. Videos must be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo or your own website, and a link provided via the entry form.

The entry system permits one image file or link per work. If you are entering a sculpture or installation which cannot be fully represented in one image, you may upload a composite image file to include additional angles, or submit a short video instead of an image.

If you are selected you will need to supply:

  • Up to 3 high resolution jpegs of you, ideally with your work or in your studio
  • If not already supplied through the entry process, a high resolution jpeg image of your work for the exhibition catalogue and associated prize promotion, e.g. a still image for film/digital/moving image works
  • Details of any display requirements for your work, e.g. AV equipment, plinths, and indicate whether you can supply these
  • Any relevant installation instructions. For works with complex requirements please indicate whether you prefer to oversee installation

You will need to deliver your work to the exhibition venue on Tuesday 16 November and collect unsold works on Saturday 27 November. We regret that we cannot provide storage outside of these dates.
